The club are asking for volunteers to come down to the club and help out with a number of jobs around the stadium this week ahead of the new season.

The stadium maintenance team has been working flat out over the summer to give the stadium a much needed face lift but with the season fast approaching there are a few last minute jobs which need doing in time for the first match.

Volunteers are required from Tuesday July 21 until Friday July 24. The club will be open from 10am to 4pm on all those days.

An extra day has been added and the club will also be open next Saturday July 25 from 10am to try and finish the clean up.

The jobs which need doing are

Litter picking

- Some seat repairs

- Weeding

- Topsoil and grass cuttings need to be cleared

- Painting inside and out

- Hanging pictures

There is sandblasting of the steps going on throughout the week as well so we will need some volunteers to repaint the steps and also to sweep up the stands.

If you can help out on any of the days then please just pop down to the ground or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

The club are also looking for more volunteers on matchday to sell programmes and the 50/50 draw. If you want to help out with this then please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call the club on 01244 371376 in office hours.
