City Fans United would like to thank member Martin Hurst, who has just sent a cheque in for £47.46 based on the money raising efforts of those using easyfundraising.org to raise funds for CFU & Chester FC.

More than £570 has been raised, and demonstrates just how easy pennies can become pounds from using easyfundraising.org which enables you to raise money whilst purchasing every day items online, or in some cases, offers where no purchases are needed, but money can still be raised. Read on to see how you can help raise even more for CFU...

Over 120 people have so far helped raise money this way, which pays out each time you go through their site and purchase goods at over 2000 well known retailers, and you can join in by becoming a member via the following link: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/cityfu/

With Christmas on the horizon, and people starting to thinking about buying presents, why not use this method to raise money for CFU at the same time, all efforts are well and truly appreciated.

You can also raise money for CFU by using ‘easysearch’ instead of using Google when searching for anything on the internet – each time you use it for a search, you’ll raise 0.5p for CFU, and we all know how often Google is used for searches, so why not use easysearch instead, by following this link: http://cityfu.easysearch.org.uk/ - over £86 has been raised by this method so far!

Thanks to everyone that has helped raise a figure of £656.57 for City Fans United and especially Martin Hurst for setting up the initiative in the first place.
