It’s been a successful season for Chester FC and City Fans United, and our congratulations go to Neil Young, his management team, and of course the players of Chester Football Club for achieving a Championship winning promotion at the first attempt!

Now, we are looking to all members of City Fans United to help push us to the next level, as we enter the summer period where planning for next season continues, and what better way to help than by renewing your CFU membership if you’ve not already done so…if you have then thank you very much, your support is truly appreciated. (Please note, Life memberships from the Chester City Supporters Trust / Chester City Independent Supporters Association that were previously in place will be honoured through City Fans United membership, so no need to renew, but if you would still like to make a donation instead as others have done, then that will also be appreciated but not expected).

As I’m sure you all know, we sadly lost our Membership Officer, Richard Wightman, just over 3 months ago, and we are keen to continue the tremendous job he did of recruiting almost 2500 adult members since City Fans United was formed, and we are therefore encouraging everyone to renew their membership (current membership expires on 30 June 2011)  for next season, and you can actually renew online at any time by following the instructions below.

We are freezing the membership fee at £5.00 for another 12 months as an extra incentive to renew, even though we have had many suggestions of increasing the fee this year – that said, we would of course be delighted to accept any donations on top of the £5.00 that you would like to offer.

The renewal process is straight forward, and there two ways of renewing:

• Online

• Complete a form

For online renewals, please download our guide to renewing online. Please remember that if you register on the City Fans United website as part of the process to allow up to 24 hours for details to become visible on the My Account section - this will then allow you to complete the renewal process.

Membership Renewal forms are available at Chester FC, and can be downloaded from our CityFansUnited/Documents page. If you are a member then why not make it your challenge to introduce a friend to City Fans United membership for 2011/12 and they too can be owners of the fastest growing football club around!

We have shown what can be achieved through strength in numbers, let’s continue in the way we have started, and enjoy another year as owners of Chester Football Club!
