Manager appointed at Chester FC

Chester Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Young as First Team Manager, with Gary Jones also joining as Assistant Manager.

 

Neil and Gary join us from Colwyn Bay FC, and have a proven track record of success including a remarkable run that took Colwyn Bay from 17th position to the Unibond League 1 South Play-offs in their first year at the club, the following season (2009/10) they achieved promotion to the Evo-Stik Premier League.

 

Chester FC Chief Executive Officer, Steve Ashton said, "We are absolutely delighted with the appointment of Neil and Gary, they are a successful management team and have shown their commitment to Chester FC, both recognise the long term potential of the club and have demonstrated this by coming to the Deva".

 

Chester FC have reached an agreement with Colwyn Bay for the release of their Manager and Assistant Manager. Chester FC will be visiting Llanelian Road for a pre-season friendly on Saturday 10th July 2010.
