The Junior Blues Painting/Colouring/Photograph Competition has now been judged by football great Gary Talbot. The results are as follows: Under three years age group: 1st place: Oliver Taylor ( Saltney ) chose a tub of Arbrick Building Blocks. 2nd place: Charlie Mitchell ( Truro Cornwall ) chose a tub of Arbrick building Blocks. 3/5 years age group: 1st place: William Bennett ( Elton ) chose a Postman Pat Hide and Seek game. 2nd place: Jacob Whittle ( Southampton) chose a Scooby Doo Peril Game. 6/8 years age group: 1st place: Charlotte Parkinson ( Littleton Chester ) chose a Ferrari Remote Controlled racing Car Set. 2nd place: Ellie Dutton ( Shotton Deeside ) chose a Transformers Universe Powerglide. 9/11 years age group: 1st place: Nathan Bowker ( Saltney Ferry ) chose a Remote Controlled Jet Aircraft. 2nd place: Connor Spencer ( Elton ) chose a Football Manager 2010 pc game. 12/15 years age group: 1st place: Jonathan Alman ( Mancot Deeside ) chose a Football Manager 2010 pc game. 2nd place: Tom Bowker ( Saltney Ferry ) chose a Chester City FC Embossed Leather Wallet. A number of prizes are still left and it has been decided to purchase extra prizes, to enable all Junior Blues who took part in this competition to receive a prize. The winners and runners up were informed prior to this information going online. Many thanks to all the children who took part, with particular thanks to Gary Talbot for taking the time to judge the entries. It is hoped that these entries will soon be framed and hung on one of the walls in the Blues Bar at the Deva Stadium. |
