Volunteer help required after Liverpool v Benfica game
Tuesday, 17 November 2015 10:43

The Lookers Vauxhall Stadium is hosting an important Premier League International Cup match between Liverpool u21s and Benfica this Friday 20th November (k.o. 7pm). Chester FC  will receive much needed funds from staging this prestigious fixture including the gate money.

However we have a home fixture v Woking on Saturday.

Liverpool FC have kindly offered the services of groundsmen to help prepare the pitch following the friday evening game, but we would also like to appeal for volunteers to stay after the game to help us get the stadium ready for our match next day.

Please meet in the East Stand after the final whistle. Refreshments will be provided.

Governance group - volunteers required
Thursday, 05 November 2015 08:17

The Governance team are looking for more volunteers to join their group to help them work through a major project.

The group are an established team of volunteers who ensure that Chester FC have all the required business processes and procedures in place that we need to be legally compliant and reduce unnecessary risk.

The group are currently reviewing all areas of business governance and are looking for help to complete this major project.

If you have a few hours per week to spare and would like to join a committed and friendly team, we would love to hear from you.

In particular we are looking for the following skills to compliment and assit our existing team: legal compliance, contractual/purchasing experience,  risk/contingency planning, health and safety, and human resources.

It's hard work, but very rewarding, plus we have fun too! Of paramount importance is willingness and enthusiasm. If you feel you could make a difference and add value to our great team please contact Richard Lynes on the email address below: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
