City Fans United last night received an invitation from Cheshire West & Chester Council to attend a meeting next Thursday (29th April) to review our application for the lease to the Deva Stadium.

We have been informed that an application from Fodbold Selskabet will also be considered on the same day. City Fans United maintain the upmost confidence in our detailed proposal and we believe that our vision for a fully community integrated club will ensure that Chester Football Club is something the whole city can be proud of.

City Fans United have captured the spirit of legendary venues like the Twisted Wheel and the Golden Torch with a stunning new mug design based on the unmistakable Northern Soul clenched fist symbol.

City Fans United would like to advise its members and Chester FC fans that a planned meeting with Cheshire West & Chester Council has been deferred to next week, following the submission of CFU's lease application to bring Chester FC to the Deva Stadium.

We believe that this will allow CWaC sufficient time to come to a decision on the lease, and we continue to be confident that our application for the lease to the Deva Stadium will be approved within this timeframe.
