Information evening for prospective CFU board members

An information evening for prospective City Fans United (CFU) directors will be held before the next CFU meeting to give potential board members an idea of what is involved.

Members of the current CFU board will be available for people thinking of standing for the CFU board on August 18th at 6.45pm, ahead of the formal CFU meeting at 7.30pm.

It is an opportunity for those thinking of standing to ask any questions they want as well as get information about the commitment involved in being a board member.

Applications for the CFU board are not yet open but you must be a current CFU member to be eligible to stand for the board. Details of what is required to stand will be sent to members around August 22nd.

Join the Junior Blues!

Renew or join the Junior Blues today and receive fantastic benefits only available to members.

This season for all existing and new members, some of the things we will be offering are; a £10 Foot Golf voucher for each member, courtesy of our official Junior Blues' partners at Foot Golf Chester and competitions for the chance to be a mascot for a game. Also when members show their membership cards at Frankie and Benny's restaurant on Sealand Road, kid's can eat free* in their restaurant. There is of course the fantastic football sessions with the Community Trust plus our incredibly successful Christmas party, and much, much more throughout the year.

For the first time this year, we are offering all existing and new members, aged 0-4, to become members for free of charge. 5-15 year olds are still just £5.

Competition Time - Win a Mascot Experience.

Would you like the opportunity to lead your heroes out before a game? Well now's your chance. Exclusively for Junior Blues members, you could win a mascot experience for a home game next season*.

We want to spread the Chester Football Club name far and wide and you can play a part in that. Travelling to Spain for a beach holiday? Off to the U.S.A. on a city trip? Or staying in the U.K. to enjoy everything it has to offer? Simply get a snap of yourself in your Chester shirt while on holiday, share it to one of social media pages on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using #BluesSummer and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a mascot experience at a home game next season. The prize includes the opportunity to meet Jon McCarthy and his players, have a guided tour of the ground and of course, get to lead out the lads before the game. We will also throw in two adult tickets.

The closing date for entries is 11.59pm on Sunday 4th September 2016, so get those snaps in.

*By entering the competitions you consent to us publishing your name and/or photograph if selected in our Newsletter, Magazines, Programmes or on our website or via any other method, including our social media pages. We will NOT publish any other personal details including addresses, telephone numbers, or email details or pass on any details to a third party without your Parent’s/Guardian’s written consent. Two join the Ops board

Two more people have joined the operational board at Chester FC to bring the number to five.

Current City Fans United (CFU) director Anne Salmon, whose portfolio is CFU administration, has joined Ron Smith, the chairman of local radio station Dee 106.3, on the operational board. Ron has been co-opted on to the ops board after unanimous approval from the CFU board.

Seals Lottery June Draw
