125 Years of Chester Football Club Celebration
Tuesday, 27 April 2010 19:40

Please note - tickets now sold out for this event

Those of who witnessed the Chester Legends Night last year will know that it was one of the best social nights staged by Chester fans in decades.

Well this year, we aim to better that, by staging a special event – a celebration of 125 Years of Chester Football Club, and already on the confirmed list backing City Fans United are Blues Legends Stuart Rimmer, Graham Barrow, Milton Graham, and Paul Carden, as well as many more Chester heroes that have already confirmed for the event, and we hope many more will add their name to the growing list.

The event will take place in the Pavillion Suite at Chester Racecourse on the evening of Saturday 12th June, and will be a great chance for fans to get together with former players of the club, and enjoy a bit of food & drink, plus we’ll be showing the England v USA match – England’s first World Cup group match – on two large screens, as well as having Plasma TV’s placed around the room.

We’re also planning on having an auction & raffle to raise funds for City Fans United, as we look to give Chester FC the best start possible next season, and anyone wishing to donate prizes for the auction / raffle can contact Jeff Banks on 07925 519418 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to discuss.

The night will also feature a top comedian, as well as food being part of the package too – tickets will be available shortly for a bargain £20. Tables of up to 10 people can be booked.

Tickets can be ordered at Thursday night’s CFU members meeting, and via This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it – please leave contact details as well as the number of tickets required.

Please note that the 125 Year Celebration is not restricted to CFU members.

Sponsorship of the evening is available, and will consist of a package of 10 tickets, advertisements on event tickets, as well as company logo on the event programme.

Please contact Jeff Banks on 07925 519418 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for further details.

Further information regarding food details will be announced in due course.
